Solo artists can benefit from backing music, in any genre, made to order by multi-instrumentalist/producer Pete Turtle. We can also help you with songwriting and arrangement.
All recordings will be mixed and mastered during the session, leaving you with a finished professional recording. We can also remix and master previous projects.

Pete is the producer at Turtle Studios in Brighton. He is a prolific and versatile musician, with an extensive catalogue of productions across a wide spectrum of musical styles. From funk to folk, rock to R&B, Pete specialises in creating quality music, with the dynamic appeal of real drums, guitars, keyboards & vocals.

Turtle's Brighton Recording Studio
Turtle Studios is a purpose-built and spacious recording studio in Brighton. It has all the features you would usually expect from a recording studio:
Sound-proofed recording room: to ensure you get the highest quality sound without the intrusion of unwanted noises
Microphones of the highest quality: including SM57 and SM58s, AKG-C3000x2, AKG-D112 and Neumann TLM-102
Analogue and digital recording equipment: for ensuring a professional mix and a polished recording
Instruments galore: including full drumkit, a variety of guitars, bass guitars, keyboard and a variety of percussion instruments

Many recording studios are cramped, with barely enough room to swing a maraca. But our studio is a spacious cabin complete with comfortable sofas, kitchenette and toilet facilities. We believe this really opens up the creative flow of the musicians who come here and enables them to produce their best possible work.
Location
Turtle Studios is located in Patcham, just a short journey north of central Brighton. You'll find ample parking and good bus connections.

5B Hangleton - City Centre - Hollingbury: Turtle Studios is less than 5 mins walk from the Carden Hill bus stop.
26 Churchill Square - Hollingbury: Turtle Studios is less than 10 mins from the County Oak Avenue bus stop.
